Foraged Materials
Life’s treasures are often found in the smallest and sweetest things, in words quietly written or spoken and in the moments where we receive a meaningful message from the heavens or from someone we love.
I actively search out fragments of history from flea markets, library sales, attics and other sources… Time worn materials hold a charm that cannot quite be replicated… like the soft color of a faded garment, printed font of an era gone by, the patina of an old wire, button, book cover or clasp. These one of a kind collages and constructions are created, with love,
from materials I have collected over decades.

My Story
After years of selling my work primarily through physical gallery shows, I wanted to make it easier for people to connect with my art, wherever they are in the world!
I have been making tiny collaged gifts for friends and family my whole life and have decided to offer them to a broader audience. It was for these purposes that this site was born.
I received my BFA from Rhode Island School of Design and my MFA from WCSU. I have taught art at the university and grade school level and created collage works ranging in size from 3 inches to 14 feet. I attribute much of my passion for aged and textured materials to my time spent living in Italy and traveling in France where the history and color of all things felt magical.
While my kids are still young, I have decided to put large scale endeavors on the back burner and bring my work closer to “home” for a while, making small projects in a smaller space, with the intention of creating more work that can be gifted.
